making a mess

i have been having to stay home and wait for important phone calls this week, this means I've been away from my studio and not painted at all! feeling creative i decided to look through my fabric stash and bits and bobs............i ended up making this awful mess!!

i loved searching amongst all my little bits of felted wool, fabric and buttons, i have so much and i do really need to make a concerted effort to get rid of some of it. I am such a hoarder, i know for certain most of this stash is over 10 years old! and this is only the icing on the cake.
Anyhow: i was inspired and ended up creating these lovely little monsters!

well i think i am going to have to make lots more little love monsters so i can reduce some of that stash!

i have opened a Folksy shop to see how things go, i was amazed to sell both things in my shop within a week! so ive listed more, happy me!



I may even put paintings and prints here, not sure yet, ill see what happens.

i am doing mystele's fantastic class Gut Art, its inspired me to paint more, and not be afraid to actually show people, so here is what i have been doing.

this is just the first week!! there are twelve weeks (i think), and i am so excited as to what i will be painting then.......
